Data transparency
Privacy & Cookies
This policy explains how LeupShop uses data required to operate the service and optional analytics data.
Necessary data
LeupShop uses necessary cookies and browser storage to maintain sign-in, protect accounts, retain the cart, remember language choices, and complete orders. These functions remain available when you reject Analytics.
Google Analytics and PostHog
If you accept, Google Analytics measures acquisition and ecommerce performance, while PostHog measures funnels and feature usage. Session Replay, autocapture, and advertising personalization are disabled in this release.
Data we send
Analytics data is limited to sanitized public page paths, product and plan identifiers, market, language, currency, payment type, funnel status, and pseudonymous user/order UUIDs. LeupShop does not send email addresses, names, phone numbers, passwords, payment references, bank information, access tokens, or sensitive search content.
Location and retention
Google Analytics is configured to retain user and event data for 14 months. PostHog uses EU Cloud in Frankfurt, with retention controlled by the active project plan and configuration. Operational records are retained only as long as needed for service, security, payment, tax, and legal purposes.
Your choices
Analytics remains disabled until you accept it. You can change your choice at any time through Cookie settings in the footer. Withdrawing consent stops new analytics data; contact LeupShop if you want to request action on previously collected data.
Contact
For privacy questions or a data access/deletion request, contact LeupShop through the official support channel shown on the home page.
